Canning Vale OSHClub is looking for a passionate and motivated Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for 38 hours per week guaranteed , leading a team of Educators at a medium 60 licence capacity service. This is a fantastic opportunity for those experienced in working with children, dedicated to take ownership of an existing great and large service and passionate about development of a team with great support structure provided by the leadership team. Hours are as follows: Monday – Friday, 06:30 – 09:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 03:00 – 6:00 PM (Stay and Play Program) additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too! About the role Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration Who are we looking for? We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids Strong and clear communication Team player with a desire to become a service leader Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA Australian work rights We're committed to ensuring our employees are included in the Early Childhood Worker Retention Grant and have applied to participate.
